Breggett Rideau was born in New Orleans, and is a Louisiana State University Alumnus. She has been performing jazz ballads, R&B, rock-n-roll and country to national audiences for over a decade. Raised on gospel, rhythm and blues, jazz and big band music, she began to develop her own style and performed with a variety of groups. Breggett has years of performing and recording experience that began even before her time in the LSU choir. She spent three years touring on the Bob Marley Festival and recently began working with Bill Tillman (Blood Sweat & Tear)s, and Kent Ellingson (piano teacher of Grammy winner Norah Jones). Now residing in Dallas/Fort Worth area, she has assembled an experienced and versatile band that provides an exceptional foundation to showcase all of her musical styles. Formally a member of the Potter House Choir, her appealing voice, style and musical selections deliver something for everyone to enjoy.
